This is a vintage (1947) book ‘Flowers of Evil’ by Charles Baudelaire. This book is super interesting! It is a book of poetry that explores themes of beauty, decay, moral corruption, & the coexistence of horror and beauty. It expresses the changing nature of beauty in Paris during the mid-19th century, a time of rapid industrialization. It is in decent used/vintage condition, but has some wear consistent with age & use such as some markings on the covers & on some pages.
