This is NOT a reproduction, THIS IS AN ORIGINAL hand painted oil portrait of Jesus Christ from the early 19th century. The texture on this wooden canvas is very impressive! You can feel and see the movements of each brush stroke. Originally painted and displayed in France. The Artist signature is on the bottom right, and was well known for his religious impressions of Christ. I was told this painting was blessed by him and it is very powerful. This is original painting my grandmother won at an auction while visiting the old country and It’s been moved around in storage after her passing. The frame is a little beat up in places but the wood canvas itself is very good. Any questions feel free to ask.
