Red and black crewneck Scandia sport sweater from the 1950s. This sweater is from the brand McGregor, which was one of the leading men's sportswear companies in the country at the time.
Made of a blend of orlon and lambswool, this piece was designed after the Oslo / Norwegian style of knitwear. It is in good vintage condition.
In the last photo you can see an advertisement for this exact sweater line from 1956! Owning this sweater would be like owning a piece of history.
