This is a reversible wool fabric made from high-end SUPER 120's wool. The fabric is created using a double weave with thick yarn, followed by a felting finish, which gives it a substantial texture. The felting process enhances the quality of the raw material, resulting in a melton that is thick yet supple. To achieve a lightweight feel when worn, it is constructed using a hand-stitched technique called river sewing instead of traditional machine sewing. The classic P-coat aesthetic is preserved while giving a modern expression through a defined silhouette and detailed sizes.

It is very lightweight, with a relaxed shoulder drop and a comfortable feel when the collar is popped up. The oversized nature allows it to be effortlessly layered over thicker tops or jackets. As it is made from reversible fabric without lining, it can be easily layered with inner down jackets and offers various outfit possibilities depending on the temperature. The elegant TAUPE color adds to its appeal.

Designer Masato Segawa was born into a family of Kyo-YÅ«zen painters and kimono tailors, spending time in the workshop from a young age. In 2015, he co-founded MAISON FLANEUR with an Italian company, serving as both designer and creative director. Aiming for a more conceptual direction, he started this brand in the fall/winter season of 2019, pursuing the inheritance and reinterpretation of global craftsmanship and the creation of universal products inspired by subcultures.
