Handmade Glass Fused Pendant

This gorgeous pendant was lovingly handmade by my late mother, who was a phenomenal artist. She used a technique called glass fusing. She handcut each tiny piece, layered them how she wanted, added frit or whatnot, and then melted the glass together in her kiln all out in her glass studio at home. She then painstakingly wire wrapped the pendant by hand with either sterling silver or copper wire. Her dream was to sell her jewelry, but she never quite got off the ground with it, so in her honor, I am presenting some of her handmade jewelry to you! Each pendant is truly unique and one of a kind. I'm not a professional photographer, but I did my best to capture just how stunning this piece is.
