This painting is a masterpiece. It's been in my home for a long time, but we have redone our house to a more modern aesthetic and it not longer fits our decor. The frame is all hand carved original antique, with the original artist signed C. F Gilbert. Sept 16 1887. Academy board LOWE BROTHERS sticker on the back indicates its authenticity. This is a gorgeous piece and I am sad to see it go but will not store such a beautiful painting, deserves to be on someones wall.
