I had pre-ordered an Authentic Cade Cunningham City Edition Jersey size 44 from the Pistons Shop website back in July 2022.
They were taking forever and it was already nearing October. I called to complain and they told me none were left. I went off on them considering I preordered one. After constantly complaining and reaching a manager they finally sent me the jersey.
Upon arrival I was dumbfounded. I ordered a 44 but I got a 46?! A size 46 wasn’t even one of the purchase options! On top of that where are the tags? I paid for a BRAND NEW item.
I emailed them and to my surprise they explained that I received a jersey from the Pistons equipment manager. So this is actually a rarer piece than your standard retail jerseys. There is no such thing as a size 46 retail jersey.
It’s possible this jersey was likely prepared to be worn by Cade. Bottom line, it doesn’t get more authentic than this! See the last two pics for my order confirmation and for the email response.
