Japanese modern glass with a bamboo leaf motif
Using a glaze copperplate method traditionally found in the Mino area, extremely thin white porcelain is formed and fired at an elevated temperature (1,340 degrees Celsius), which gives a moist texture. Due to its thinness, a bamboo leaf pattern can be is seen through the porcelain. The image of emerging bamboo leaves will remind you of the scenery through a sliding paper door. The set includes a tall earthenware teapot and four Sencha tea cups.
