This is an 18 American Girl Doll that is dressed in full
Women's Traditional Dance Regalia. Her dress is hand
crafted of brain tanned, smoked deer hide, beaded in
Italian & French, sized 12/0 Cut seed beads, her belt & drop
is made of latigo leather and holds a beaded leather knife
sheath with hand carved bone knife,and her back pouch,
also fully beaded. She wears a breastplate of 1/2 bone
hairpipe and glass beads with dentalium shell fringe. She is
wearing beaded boot moccasins. Her hair is
braided and held with Otter wraps,and her head feather is
held in with a fully beaded barrette. Traditional style
earrings made from dentalium shells adorn her ears and
she carries a beaded fan & hand fringed shawl. Her name is Wihe' meaning Little Sister in the UmoHon lanquage. Everything is hand stitched and made in full scale with the
exception of the slit & tie at the back of the dress, this is
designed for ease of dressing the doll. The only thing not pristine is the head feather.
