This is quite large, standing about 11.25 tall with the actual cookie having a diameter of 9 . Width is about 4 .
Most of the ones that look like this have more of a half circle handle, where this one is almost a full circle. This one also has smooth sides with ridges on front, other ones do not have smooth sides. I asked an expert in cookie jars and he was also stumped by this one. Worth Point does not even have this one in past sales. This may be a one of a kind piece.
This also has the signature L. Reese on the bottom and the initials LR on the inside rim.
It will look near perfect on a display. However there is a light chip on the handle that goes almost unnoticed since it's the same color underneath. Also there are a few small chips on the inside where the lid meets the jar that can't be seen unless the lid is off.
Also the lid sits on it awkwardly. Looks fine when its aligned, but doesn't really have a snug fit.
