Virginia Conference Orphanage, Express Freight and Telegraph Office, Richmond, Virginia
Dear Sister:- The Christmas collection was a great success. It brought us 1,500.00. I desire to thank you for the good work you did for the Orphanage last December and to ask you to help us in the June collection. Will you not see your Pastor and Sunday School Superintendent and offer to help them arrange the Orphanage Committee, and to take the collection in your Sunday School and congregation? I have sent you three copies of the Orphanage Number of the Advocate. Please place these in the hands of friends who do not subscribe to the paper and who will likely become interested in the Orphanage, and as you so do, I should be glad if you would say a good word for the Advocate. Thanking you for your great interest in the orphanage.
