Talavera is a very traditional craftsmanship procedure & because it has that extra process pieces tend to be better quality & durability …. This been as old as it is shows no chips due the glazing process.
Pieces like this although use molds to start the process are done by hand one shape is done they are cook, after that they are painted & cook again, then glazed and cook that is why they are a favorite for Garden Deco but they can also be part of an indoor Deco
