The initials KPM stand for the Königliche Porzellan Manufaktur (Royal Porcelain Factory) in Berlin. Each piece that bears these three initials is indeed a unique product from the 250 year-old factory. To this day, the factory continues to produce the finest porcelain articles almost exclusively by hand.

This article discusses KPM marks used after 1825 and will focus on pieces from the mid-1800s through WWI, about 1917. Typical production pieces of this period sell between 300-5000. The highly sought plaques of this period range from 1,000 to 10,000 and up depending on size, subject and artist.

If you love this and would want it, but think it's too expensive, tell me what you can afford and I might consider your offer, IF ITS A FAIR OFFER. You don't know unless you try.
Whimsical and fun
Old fashioned and crafted
