Vintage Mid Century United Ship Clock 1955 Sailing Yacht Electric Clock

A beautiful vintage ship clock from the United Clock Corporation, of Brooklyn, New York. This three-masted barque has metal masts and sails, all unfurled, a metal bowsprit, and additional porthole embellishments. The wood boat showcases the clock set in a ship’s wheel, and features a light to the bow and stern. This is model no. 811. This United clock has 2 lights one on each end that can be turned on using the push button switch near the center of the ship to light the sails at night. Tested and working, keeping accurate time. The clock runs well and both lights function as they should. Mid-century modern, electric mantel clock in the shape of a sailing ship. Made of polished mahogany with chromium sails and fittings and with a clock dial set in a ship's wheel. Made by the United Clock Co. Brooklyn, New York for their 50th anniversary in 1955.
