Signed & doodled first American trade edition, first printing hardcover copy of Eva Luna by Isabel Allende (Alfred A. Knopf, 1988). First published in Spain in 1987. This is the first US edition released following a limited signed collector’s edition published by Franklin Library in 1988. Some faint rubbing/scuffing to jacket faces and with shelf wear around the edges, including creases to corners. Boards are straight and clean with corners bumped and small dent to bottom edge of rear board. Binding is firm and spine is straight. A few pages bumped at top outer edge of text block. Otherwise all pages are clean and unmarked. See photos for condition.
