here we have two ribbons from the 1800s. One of these is an in memoriam ribbon and the other one is a commemorative ribbon. The commemorative ribbon has a beautiful hand sewn patriotic flower with a sequined star in the middle. The silk of the flower is very delicate and if handled roughly will flake. The metal tassels of this ribbon are bent a little all over the place, This would be easily fixed I just pinning it flat for a few days.
The in memoriam ribbon is in excellent condition. It includes the patriotic pin to wear the ribbon. It also appears that there might have been other ribbons originally attached to this though when I received it it was only the black one. The silk tassels at the bottom are in excellent condition.
All of these are very old delicate and loved The condition reflects it, thats to say are not in mint condition, but they have lived a life and have story's to tell. If you need more photos to better understand the condition please ask
