Vintage Art Deco Bronzed Cigarette Station with Lidded Box and Ashtray

I’ve said it before elsewhere: “It was tres chic and fabulous to smoke during the Art Deco period in America, notably known as the roaring 30’s.” To elevate smoking to a class act required classy tobacco accessories, such as this RARE bronzed Vintage Cigarette Station. The station features a built in box on the left with lid and design of a gazelle, which was popular during this Period. The gazelle exemplified the movement's blend of modernity, luxury, and exoticism.

On the right is a removable ashtray with lid for holding and snuffing cigarettes. Just to the right of this, is an engraving plate, if it weren’t opulent enough already! Skyscraper design embellishments, typical of the Art Deco period can be seen on all sides. The station displays a faux bronze with a lovely chocolate patina. There’s so much you can do with this piece. Candy dish, playing cards holder or simply lovely antique home decor…it would look absolutely stunning anywhere you place it. Let it be seen!
