Gorgeous 1958 Kathy doll, almost 23 tall! Information on doll states it was made only one year.A beauty for 67 yrs old! Flirty eyes,open and close, perfect facial features, hair still perfect.Body no flaws, legs,(a small 2mm blue dot on top of right thigh. Abdomen light peach color, firm thick plastic. Head and arms soft and thick vinyl. My collection. Very clean body. Orig. dress, light pink dotted sheer. Very full gathered with gathered layer underneath.A little more color fade on front , due to age/display.See label! Vintage satin bonnet,same age, replaced original.(actually even better I think.) No damage to bonnet, but residue/color slight change due to age.Light wear on top of socks, little soil on shoes , but adorable !
To sit/stand firmly, I wrap leg joints with elastic or bands to keep them firm.(A doll repair trick).She is firm and weighty.
Not to play with, she is rare for this size.
