This is an extremely rare book, titled Zululu, The Maid of Anahuac” (1892). It is a first edition, signed by the author Hanna A. Foster. The hardcover book was published by G.P. Putnam's Sons in New York.
After arduous searching for the value of this book, I have found only one other copy available online in the Google books index, for 125. I am unsure how many copies of this first edition of this book exist, but I have never had a harder time finding a value for a book, so I presume this book is extraordinarily rare.
The book is an epic poem telling a tale of passion and tragedy in 15 cantos that follow characters set in prehistoric Mexico.
The book is in excellent condition. The binding is a little worn, due to its age, and the pages have some yellowing for the same reason. But, the book is sturdy, no signs of water damage, or tearing. Please see all photos. damage, or tearing. Please see all photos.
