Vintage, first edition, hardcover book “ The complete Illustrated Book of Yoga” by Swami Vishnudevananda 1960. The book is full of photos of various yoga poses modeled by this Swami. Vishnudevananda’s master was Swami Sivananda. The book has not only yoga poses but teaching on energetic bodies, philosophy of yoga, yogic cleaning, differences between yogic exercises and physical culture, conquest of old age through yoga exercises, natural diet of a man, pranayama or yogic breathing, Astral body, self as existence, knowledge and bliss, conquest of death and more.

Condition: Good vintage condition. No dust jacket. Hardcover is intact -there is a small crack in linen spine binding but it is not structural. Normal for age page toning. Some staining to pages but stays close to edge. Pages crisp with legible print, photos and illustrations. No offensive odor.
