From one of Germany's most highly regarded porcelain manufacturers dating back to 1866 is this sweet pair of corresponding dessert / salad plates each detailing different Woodland game birds. One plate features a family of Partridge, while the other depicts a pair of Snipe. The forest scenes are from antique engravings. There are ferns, mushrooms and other woodland plants. They are trimmed in green around the rim.
