DOLCE&GABBANA Multi-Zip Parachute Pants

DOLCE&GABBANA, founded by the designer duo Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, is a representative Italian brand that was unveiled at the Milan Collection in 1985. Initially, the collections were created amidst financial difficulties, showcasing creativity and ingenuity, but their masculine yet sexy and powerful designs that expressed the beauty of women's strength later gained attention. They introduced a wide range of products including knits, lingerie, and beachwear. They launched a second line, D&G, and gained significant recognition by creating costumes for Madonna, thus establishing a prominent reputation.

Since then, they have dressed celebrities such as Beyoncé, Kylie Minogue, and Whitney Houston, as well as created uniforms for the Italian football club AC Milan and official suits for the Italian national team. They received a call from Frankie Knuckles, known as the godfather of house music, further establishing them as a globally recognized luxury brand that transcends industries.

This is a 2006 Spring/Summer cargo pant from Dolce & Gabbana. Modeled after the Italian military airborne troops' parachute pants, it features luxurious metal detailing typical of Dolce & Gabbana, distressed finishes, and a striking use of heavy oversized zippers that exude a powerful, bondage, and punkish vibe. The fabric is a sturdy plain woven cotton cross, making it versatile for year-round wear. As past works from brands like Dior Homme, Raf Simons, Martin Margiela, Helmut Lang, Undercover, and Number Nine are gaining recognition in the archive scene, this piece is also being reevaluated alongside HALB's multi-pocket cargo pants and popular Y2K tech brands.

As this is a vintage archive piece from nearly 20 years ago, there are stains, damages, and discoloration of the metal parts outside those visible in the photos. Please understand it is a personal item.
