It was signed by the author two months to the day before he passed away.

What makes this volume so amazingly special is he wrote about when as a tot, he took his pedal car to Beamer Ford Sales in Morgantown. He requested a new paint job, and overall tune up, which they did. This book CONTAINS THE ORIGINAL RECEIPT TO AUTHOR FROM BEAMER FORD SALES! It is stamped Paid Oct 15 1952 The spine is broken at the page that contains this story and the receipt.
Absolutely wonderful piece of Morgantown and Osage history.
