This is a photo book titled Wonderland by Japanese photographer Mitsugu Onishi.

Born in Fukagawa, Tokyo in 1952, Onishi graduated from Tokyo College of Photography and worked as a research assistant at the same school. He began holding solo exhibitions of his snapshots in the 1970s. He also taught at Tokyo Zokei University and Kanto Gakuin University, working as an educator. Onishi has also been active for many years in promoting the appeal of photography through writing for various photographic magazines, photographic essays, and judging monthly contests. This book is a sequel to his first book, Wonder Land -1980-1989- , which won the 18th Kimura Ihei Photography Award. It is a collection of photographs taken from 1990 to 2006. Onishi, who has been photographing Tokyo's downtown area for over 30 years, has come to the realization that he wants to return photography to the town as a way of repaying it. He depicts what Tokyo is losing, and reaffirms the gentleness and richness of humanity.
