Wonderful antique condition with no major issues
Small hairline crack in spout and crazing throughout
About 12” high and 11” across
Made by Crown Pottery Company in Evanston, IN somewhere between the 1890's-early 1900's, this antique ironstone pitcher features beautiful detail. The Potteries was started by an English immigrant who moved to Indiana in the 1880's. Unfortunately, he died just a couple of years into business leaving Crown Pottery to shuffle between a few different owners before it merged in the 1890's with Illinois-based Peoria Pottery Company, producing ironstone and graniteware until the 1950's.
