This is a nice old chain that uses an oversized kilt pin as the clasp. The pin is 3.5 inches long and the chain is 14 inches long - together, they form a 17 inches necklace. Each of the link is 14 mm X 10 mm. You can wear it multiple ways, with the kilt pin in the front or on the side. The chain has nicely cast flower and ribbon pattern. I believe the chain is older than the pin - someone must have put them together at one point. The chain appears to be having a brass base with silver-plate on top - some places start showing the brass undertone. I decided to leave the chain as is without polishing and let the future owner to decide how much to clean up
