If this thing would fit my fat wrist, I'd keep it! Verified Bakelite bangle has a romantic, cottagecore rose-and-leaf motif that goes all the way around the bangle. Has a creamy, off-white color that is a bit lighter than the pictures show. I seriously thought for a while that it was casein, but rubbing the material produced the old bandaid smell that is associated with Bakelite. A Formula 409 test confirmed Bakelite material. Bangle measures 7 1/2 around the inside, and is 1/4 thick. In perfect condition. A perfect gift for the discriminating collector. Weighs 23.56 grams.
