Union Hardware English Style 17C wood and leather Antique Ice Skates
Wood and leather on the front of the skate along with a bracket supporting the runner to the base. Thick runners. Nice shape for their age.
Union Hardware started their company in the mid 1800' s. I am guessing these skates were of the original style skates when the company was born.
The skates are heavy and the craftmanship superb.
I love the wood platform....so much character!!
The leather is intact however is very fragile.
