I'm not sure which wood these are but they sure are beautiful there from the 70s from Greece.You can put them anywhere and they'll be noticed ,I would love to see them being useful again..The pineapple has always been a welcome sign.They would look fabulous at the ends of a staircase.The price is for 2.If you want all 4 please let me know we can work on it.I think my husband bought them at 80.00 each and we had no regrets .
