As a warning I do not have any authentication for the autographs on the helmet or for the helmet in general but I am 100% certain the helmet is 100% real. I was able to purchase this from a friend who bought the helmet at the UT Team Store back in 2004. The helmet was practice worn as he was told when he purchased it on September 25, 2004. The Longhorns faced the Rice Owls that day and after the game my friend was able to obtain autographs from a numerous amount of Texas Longhorn Football players.
I did some research and was able to match the autographs to the players on the 2004 Roster. The biggest autos my friend was able to obtain in this helmet was from Derrick Johnson, former NFL All-Pro LB and UT Kicker Dusty Magnum. I was also able to match the helmet to the helmet the Texas Longhorn players wore back in 04. I am certain this wasn’t game used because there were no numbers on the back of helmet but there could be a possibility.
