This vintage Marhill Mosaic Genuine Mother of Pearl compact is quite glamorous!
It's a brass makeup case with a cover of 25 individual Mother of Pearl tiles. At the center is an insignia for American Legion Auxiliary.
The compact measures 2-3/4 x 2-1/2 x 3/8 . It snaps open easily and has a pocket mirror on the inside of the lid-with its original sticker that says Marhill Genuine Mother of Pearl . Inside, there is another lid that opens to reveal where the actual foundation powder once was(sadly, Mom used it all!) and includes its original applicator pad.
It shows some wear and tear, mainly on the brass sides and back, but is functional and charming.
