This is a rare collection of medallions that were made for the first season Winnipeg Jets became an official NHL team. There is one medal for each player (total of 23 slots, and on the display card is a holographic emblem of the teams logo which is what I believe to be the 24th medallion in the collection. Each medal is a full-color photo of each player on the front with their name, and the back all seem to be the same featuring the team logo. Also each medal is in a plastic holder that is made to also fit into the display slot for each.
There were so many great players for the inaugural year of this team with freshly won Stanley Cup champions such as Dustin Byfuglien and Andrew Ladd from the Chicago Blackhawks as well as many other great players from other NHL teams. These medallions were individually sold at the arena but you had to have a coupon/ticket into the game for each release. To have this entire collection is a rare find for this team.
