Extremely rare book, The Book of Ohio Volume VIII, by Charles Sumner Van Tassel in 1901. This is a very large, heavy, school edition encyclopedia type of reference book. I have several of these hardback books, and only volume VIII has a copyright page in it at the very end, which states it is by Charles Sumner Van Tassel copyright 1901. Each book measures 11 x 15 and weighs 3.5lbs, and has approximately 100 pages. There are many illustrations throughout each volume, all in black and white. The illustrations are by the Terry Engraving Company, Columbus OH.
This unique book is over 120 years old, and it certainly shows its wear. It is readable, and mostly intact, a great antique collectors book. Please see the pictures for more details, and if you have any questions, feel free to message me at any time.
