A beautiful pair of miniature giraffe figurines from famous German makers, Wagner Handwork. Dating to circa 1950s or 60s. He was crafted by hand from composition, flocked with cotton fibers and completed with a fur tail and mane.
Also known as Kunstlerschutz animals , Wagner Handwork creations are designed to be included in Christmas nativity and village dioramas, known as 'putz' scenes in their native Germany.
