This is a unique piece of Black-Americana dated 1918. The original magazine ad has been beautifully matted & framed (14” x 17”).
I happen to know this framer; a local artist & widely known to do exceptional work (at appropriately “exceptional” prices.) -Ahem.-
This piece has been in my possession for 30+ years, but I can’t give any information on age beyond that. Sorry!
The phone number has been edited out here —but the original is intact.
Please note: this was displayed on a shelf or by screws driven through the frame top and bottom (see pix). To hang traditionally, a metal picture-hanger will be needed. (If you choose, I’ll be happy to provide one.)
