In celebration of the 5th anniversary of the Rent-a-Girlfriend manga and the upcoming second season of its TV anime adaptation, the manga creator Reiji Miyajima launched a crowdfunding campaign on February 27, 2022, to raise funds for an advertisement inside Tokyo's Shibuya Station, the world's second-busiest train station. The campaign has already surpassed its 6 million yen goal in just 25 minutes, and as of writing, has raised over 12 million yen. It was launched as a tribute to Kazuya's experience of running a crowdfunding campaign in one of the arcs of the Rent-a-Girlfriend manga series. This limited shikishi was available initially to only 40 but then extended to 80 backers due to the huge demand. It features a hand-signed autograph from Reiji Miyajima and a printed illustration of the four characters: Ruka, Chizuru, Mami, and Sumi, from left to right.
