US Navy Cotton Poplin Shirt, N-3, Dead Stock (40s)

This is a vintage N-3 utility shirt from the 1940s, a genuine U.S. Navy item. It's a deadstock piece, likely never even washed. While there is some discoloration on the buttons (photo 13) and storage wrinkles, it's in good condition considering its age, with no noticeable stains or holes. The contract number is still legible. The size is 15 1/2, which is considered a golden size for Japanese people.

This item is part of the N-3 system, which was adopted during World War II as summer combat clothing. It was worn with items like the HBT jacket.
