Made by New England Pottery Co. - Rieti. Marked Rieti on the bottom and #237 and #254.
Rieti’ was a semi-porcelain decorated ware produced for only a short period of time. The mark on the base dates this piece from 1886 – 1888. In 1889 a different version of the Rieti mark was introduced but production of this ware ended the same year (1889). In addition to the mark there is also a hand painted number 237 and 254.
Lovely Antique Pottery , minimum chips in the bottom, one little chip in the handle was repaired, please see picture, this color and design are very rare, both were found in the ruins of an old house.
