1 of 2 Kanawha pitcher. This pitcher is a stunning tangerine orange to iridescent reds up by the mouth. Light brings this piece to life in so many ways (see pics). I just added a few pics using a black-light UV full spectrum which brings out the glow in the yellows/orange - that's the Cadmium Celenium reaction.
This original piece features a Blenko like double spout design and is made of hand blown glass that’s molded in studios in West Virginia on the Kanawha River. Let’s face it the artisans probably worked for both companies. The beautiful amberina color with bright accents makes it a perfect decorative item to brighten any home. Weather sunlight led in a decent and the line this one turns to fire in so many ways.
