Up for sale is a group of Asian lacquer hand painted wooden vases. This lot includes:
1. Chinese vase, 14 tall including the base. Black Lacquer Hand Painted with peonies, rocks, and a butterfly. This is a classic scene of Die Lian Hua in Chinese meaning The love of butterflies to flowers . The objects are outlined in golden paint and then filled with different colored paints.
2. Vietnamese vase, 15 tall including the base. Black Lacquer Hand Painted a peaceful village scene including huts, palm trees, boats, and women.
3. Japanese vase, 10 tall including the base. Brawn background with flying cranes under the moon.
Beautifully presented and all the vases are in great conditions. Only the Japanese vase has 2 little paint chips on the upper rim (see the last picture). Otherwise all in perfect conditions.
