This is the conclusion to the Spider Slayer storyline where JJJ has hired Spencer Smythe to design the Spider Slayers to solve his pesky Spidey problem. He escapes the bad guys and goes to give J. Jonah Jameson a piece of his mind. In the subplot, Flash is “arrested” by the military police which sets up the next story arc about his time in Vietnam. Written by Stan the Man Lee himself and illustrated by John Romita and Frank Giacoia. John Romita pulls double duty on this cover as well dated April 1972.
I always refer people to the pictures, but I want to point out a few nicks on the green cover border. There is also a small tear in the rear cover that I honestly missed the first time and saw it as I was packaging the book back up so I added those pictures.
