Vintage 70s Madame Alexander 17" Elise Ballerina #1745 (1970) or #1715 (1971)

17" doll with brown hair with crown of flowers. Dark, pupil-less brown sleep eyes. Drop rhinestone earrings. Blue tutu shows discoloration from dust or handling prior to my mother's purchase of the doll. Black velvet choker. Bodice and attached panties are both satin. Neckline has frill of tulle with white flower on right shoulder and rhinestone at center. Blue ribbon tie at waist with flower in center. Pleated, blue tulle skirt with rhinestone (replaced in 1999) and white floral accents (replaced in 1999). Pink hosiery. Purchased without shoes from eBay seller in 1999 and replaced both shoes (with another vintage pair) and ribbon ties (new). She is in good, vintage condition--check out her hair and high color cheeks! I have tried to show areas where there may be some discoloration of the tulle and face/limbs. She does not have her hang tag or box. She will be shipped securely.My mother's research into this doll was exhaustive. She found a picture on p. 209 of Collectors Encyclopedia of Madame Alexander Dolls, 1966-1999. A picture of Leslie Ballerina (the AA version) shows this doll wears a similar costume. See p. 284 of Madame Alexander Collector Dolls, Volume I. Ultimately, she could not decide on a final date between 1970 and 1971.
