Such an interesting old book! It explains the rules of games of the day (1875). It includes oodles of card games but also chess back-gammon draughts (checkers) billiards hazard (dice games) tennis horse racinggolf ( goff ). Archery etcIt is in sound condition with strong binding and clean page with light even page browning. The last few blank end pages have tears at the bottom. Externally it has expected shelf wear and a bit of wrinkling to the front board. The spine gilt is nice and legible. Top and bottom of spine has bending with allfour corners having light bumps and wear. At 150 years old it is in quite good condition.
