This doll is in good condition and I have chosen not to wash it. He looks like he's been stored in an attic or closet. While he is in excellent condition his clothes are a little bit musty and they will need to be cleaned. I opted to traditionally not wash my CPK clothing and allow the new owner the opportunity to clean it in a way that it can keep its condition.
