From my personal collection, this super cute 1953 Mary Jane Doll by Kathryn Kay Kreations.
Made for one year only, Terri Lee Doll Co filed a lawsuit because of their copyright. All Mary Jane Doll molds & finished dolls were destroyed in 1954. This Mary Jane is one of the nicest ones Ive seen. She is ready to display.
Hard Plastic 17 tall unmarked body, jointed walker. Her head turns & her eyes move as she walks. Body in great condition with no cracks or splits. Clear flirty sleep eyes, molded lashes, face are perfect. Original wig has a little frizz, & little thinner on one side but still nice.
Cute blue dress is professionally made, totally lined, & has under skirt, ribbon, lace. Closes with the tiniest snaps. Original undies could use some new elastic. Has vintage shoes, socks. 1950s blue purse w/ a lucky penny, & an old straw flower trimmed hat, that I love. Her chin ribbons are fragile.
