These charming vintage c.1960s Capodimonte fruit pitchers are delightful examples of Italian craftsmanship. The apple pitcher is shaped like a realistic apple, with a smooth, glazed surface in shades of green and yellow, and a brown branch-like handle. The pineapple pitcher is shaped like a ripe pineapple with detailed texturing and vibrant coloring. The handle is designed to complement the overall aesthetic, resembling a branch, while the spout and top are styled as the pineapple's leafy crown. Both pitchers are hand-painted.
Condition:
Very good vintage condition. Only one tiny chip along the mouth of the pineapple (see photo). No cracks or repairs. Minor wear consistent with age. However, potential buyers should review the photos carefully for any minor imperfections. Sold as is.
