Condition: The newspaper is in Good condition with a misfold and edge fraying. Both of which a framer would be able to fix tbh

Description: Printed on June 17th, 1940 this newspaper covers the very first moments of the capitulation of France to German Forces. Unable to retaliate against the German Blitzkrieg and surprised by the invasion of Belgium to circumvent the Maginot Line, France fell within 6 weeks and was forced to sign surrender papers in the same train car where Germany surrendered in World War 1.
