This is a vintage cookie jar made in China (1994) for the Clay Art Company in San Francisco (see photo of bottom). China produced the pottery, and it was hand-painted by the Clay Art Co. The chef is very chubby, with a happy round face. He is holding a tray of cookies.
This cookie jar is in very good vintage condition: no chips, cracks, or crazing. The jar is very large: 11 inches tall, 8 inches wide, and 9 inches deep for the cookies.
