This is a set of 3 towels. This lovely tea towel is unsold merchandise from our family's linen store that closed in the 1950s. Â Since then it has been stored in our smoke free home. Â It is 20 inches x 13.75 inches when unfolded. Â
This towel was made in the 1940s. Â Â
It is linen and professionally embroidered. Â I am not sure what country it was made in. Â
When Pearl Harbor was bombed all the Japanese made products were boxed and stored, so it could be pre-war Japan. Â We also had embroidered stock from China, Ukraine, France and Switzerland. Â
The raised embroidery gives it a 3D appearance. Â
I have resisted the temptation to iron it, because I want it in original condition.  It is a perfect addition to your collection.  The charge is for 3 towels. If you only want 1 or 2, please contact me.
