This is an original hand-painted acrylic painting of Jesus walking on water on a 16x20 stretched canvas.
I painted this artwork this year, 2024, during the Lenten season. I depicted the scene as though Jesus is walking through a storm on the water to get to someone in need.
The painting was finished with a matte varnish.
Initially, I had painted Jesus on 8x10 canvas panels. I would sketch first and then paint. With these 16x20 stretched canvas paintings of Jesus, I didn't sketch beforehand.
